Why did a great actor like Michael Caine agree to star in a piece of crap like "Jaws No. 4"?
When he agreed to star in "Jaws 4: The Revenge," Michael Caine was in the process of building a house in Los Angeles and the work was proving more expensive than expected.
Michael Caine needed cash and accepted a fee of $1.5 million for a week's work.
When asked about his involvement in this flop, Michael Caine said the following:
"I've never seen this movie, but everyone agrees it's terrible. However, I've seen the house I was able to build thanks to it, and I can tell you it's sublime!"
